I LOVE MY INDIA AND I'M PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN

It all started from the day when India was divided into Pak n Ind…
Few ppl who wanted to part, they went to Pak n some ppl who wanted to stay back they did. Those who were left out were called Indian muslim. I’m one of them. I love my country. This is my mother land, and yes I’m ready to give my life to my mother land. I’m writing this post because I really feel very upset when I hear some thing like what happen from past 1 month. Its very sad to head about the people who do some illegal things for their personal reason and they cause trouble to the innocents. It’s a shameful act. Some times a situation gets created which makes me feel ashamed about my own religion.. ya I’m proud of my religion. it teaches me to love every creation of God. I was taught in school that “God is only one and we call him by many name” . I wonder the teachers who taught us these things they themselves don’t mean it. But I do strongly believe it. I felt very sad when I heard one of my friend’s father telling his son when he was going abroad “ son u do what ever u want but don’t talk or make friendship with any muslim guy.” It really made me cry. Well the next day I heard my dad too telling my bro’s n me too that don’t make any such friend who talk about jihad and all stuffs which doesn’t relate to good things like studies, sports and stuffs and in particular muslim. So then I realized its not about the religion, its about safety. Everyone is afraid so just taking some precausions.. but again then another incident is when I was in a office for some work and they were not knowing I’m muslin n they were busy in their conversation. One of them said about some terror attack and the other said “these muslim don’t ‘ve any other work and they keep on doing these thing”. When I heard it I told why do you say that, isn’t Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam not a muslim? Has he not done any good for the nation? I’ve never been so brave but don’t know how I told that. Then they asked sorry. See these are called literates. Its so shame to’ve such people who talk like that. Ya I do agree it’s a big crime what the terrorists do but for that u cant blame the community for that.

i heard this phase some where which impressed me a lot “ kuch aisa karenge jis se hare ek ko apne mazhab se pehle apna desh yaad aaye.” I too want to be a part of this mission. For those who believe India have not given us anything add this one “ it gave u place to live, it has accepted you as the citizen and you are given equal rights, you are given special consideration where in u are counted as minority.. isn’t it enough for you to fight for India”.

I believe many of you agree for what I’ve written. Do comment on this.

well taboo!!
There r two sides to every story..I was watching parzania d oder day n i cried n cried n cried n cried..I was ashamed to be a hindu tat day..But wen i sat back and analysed,i concluded the movie showed one side of the society,WHILE there exists TWO!!

N why ppl have comments to make like those u mentioned in ur blog is cuz they want to stay away from unnecessary problems..
There have been instances more than 1 in number where muslims have been involved in terrorist activities in india and abroad and the recent london case scares normal ppl like our parents even more....N i think tat is justifiable enough....Coming to the point of normal muslims like you being affected,I and MANY like me stand by your side..
U also mentioned Abdul Kalam,WELL,don't u think tat his holding the most prestigious position only proves that INDIA still is a democratic and SECULAR country????
Don't u think u have all the possible platforms to raise a voice against any mis doing in india????Just like now?like u expressed ur feelings thru the blog on a public platform????
I'd give u another eg>Dr.Haneef returned to india with a clean image and the CM of karnataka is offering him a high post in the govt hospital,he is offered by manipal,AIMS,etc...N all these offers are made to him not because of his caste but cuz he is an indian and deserves the best....He is one amongst us....
I'd just want to tell u that none of us ever make friendship by asking ur caste, do we????ur frnz r ur frnz cuz ur taboo....Not b'cuz ur taboo, the muslim gal....
Comments like ur frnz father shudn't upset u so much....They r from another generation altogether....U shud be glad our generation is more secular than it ever got....
KUDOS....
VR INDIANS FIRST,HINDU-MUSLIM L8R....

hello..i just came by this blog considering minority issue..the topic raised has been very interesting but it could have been written with some more practical examples..
aditi is reffering that Dr Haneef was given a high post by CM...let me question

Does CM hold enough power to appoint a person a doctor or it is the personal caliber of doctor to get a govt job..by doing this CM has closed door for another briliant doctor who could have come through a test/interview.

there was no need to give a job to him since he is a doctor and could earn high income any way..and he also got some publicity..

the oppurtinity was cashed by CM by showing himself clean infron of people..another vote bank politics...to attract minority votes..

its time to understand that most things in our country are pollitcally motivated...take the case of recent outburst of Raj Thackrey over outsiders..

I agree with you Tabu. It's people's mindset & politics that makes religion bad. No religion preaches bad things. India is a secular country & I am proud to be an Indian. Terrorism is only due to the people's mindset & not by any religion.

i appreciate what sajad said.. look guys these are all very complicated aspects to deal with, they're involved with prejudice we cant come out of.. whatever the thing may be, the only reason responsible for all this is our own political policies towards the handling of subtle matters like that of terrorsist attacks.. i'm really against the rule.. still today the bloody kasav's in custody and going on trail in court.. i say we should've hanged him alive in road n send a message to all who's even thinking bad about our country.. I've many things to say, but as i said earlier, things get complicated, and there comes nothing if we just comment in a blog..
